Job Description:
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing high-quality routine and non-routine maintenance for various types of aircraft. This role requires a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, a high degree of technical competence, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to detect wear, defects, and other issues
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks according to regulations and safety procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems and components
- Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with other team members
Qualifications:
- A valid A&P license is required
- Experience in aircraft maintenance and repair
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work well in a team and maintain professionalism under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training is a plus
