Hancock Aviation is a leading company specializing in the sales and service of private and corporate aircraft. We offer a wide range of services, from aircraft brokerage to maintenance, and we’re currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a mechanically inclined individual who’s passionate about aviation and eager to learn the trade. As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you will be part of our skilled maintenance team, learning to perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on various types of aircraft under the guidance of experienced A&P mechanics.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed A&P mechanics in routine and non-routine maintenance tasks
  • Learn to diagnose and repair aircraft systems and components
  • Gain knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
  • Follow instructions and procedures from mentors
  • Keep clean and organized work areas
  • Learn to document maintenance and repair work

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
  • Basic understanding of tools and their proper use
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior mechanical experience preferred but not necessary

Salary: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
