Aircraft Records Specialist
Overview
Hancock Aviation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Aircraft Records Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting the efficient operation of our aviation services.Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update draft aircraft records, including logbooks, maintenance records, repair and overhaul documentation, and flight records for review by our DOM
- Regularly review and verify the accuracy of records and documentation. Ensure all maintenance and repair work is properly documented and filed.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update record-keeping practices accordingly. Ensure all aircraft are compliant with applicable regulations and standards.
- Prepare reports and summaries of aircraft records as required. Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and records to support audit processes.
- Work closely with maintenance teams, pilots, and management to ensure seamless information flow and record accuracy.
- Utilize and maintain digital record-keeping systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- Prior experience in aviation or an organizational position.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and standards pertaining to aircraft records and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using aviation-specific software and general computer applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Specifics:
- Type: Full-time
- Salary Range: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
Location:
- Baton Rouge, LA 70807. A reliable commute or plans to relocate before the job commencement is a must.
Essential Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Driver's License.
- Minimum of 3 years in a organizational role.
